SUPPORTING THE INSTALLATION OF WATER FILTRATION SYSTEMS IN HUE CITY

On July 30th, 2025, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations of Hue City worked together with Children of Vietnam (USA) to install 5 water filter systems, each system costs 50,000,000 VND, for schools in the city. This activity helps to make daily life and health care at schools better, especially in areas that still have some difficulties.

The schools supported with water filter system installations include: Phong Binh Primary School (Campus 2), Phong Binh I Kindergarten (Campus 2), Phong Chuong Primary School, Nguyen Lo Trach Primary and Secondary School, and Thuan Hoa Primary School (Campus 3). These schools are located in suburban areas of the city, where facilities are still limited, especially in accessing clean water for daily use by students and teachers.

The water filtration systems sponsored by COV help eliminate impurities and harmful bacteria, thereby ensuring the hygienic safety of water used directly within the school environment. By bringing these systems into operation, they improve students’ health and well-being while also reducing the financial burden and labor of water treatment for the schools.

This activity was carried out through a collaboration between the Children of Vietnam organization and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations of Hue City, along with the active cooperation of the school. The school representative extended their gratitude for the sponsors’ timely and practical support, especially given the limited living conditions the school still faces.

Through this program, Children of Vietnam continues to demonstrate their commitment to accompanying the local community in improving the quality of education and healthcare for children. This is one of many practical activities that contribute to building a safer, more friendly, and more sustainable learning environment for students within Hue City.
