On December 29, 2024, at the University of Economics in Hue, a scholarship ceremony for students facing financial difficulties in Thua Thien Hue Province, sponsored by VietHope, was held in a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
Mr. Huynh Tien Dat, Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue Union of Friendship Organizations, presented scholarships to the students.
This year’s scholarship program includes two main parts: the Merit Development Program (MDP) and the VietHope Student Development Program (VSDP). These programs aim to help students reduce financial stress, cover tuition and living expenses, and encourage them to keep working hard in their studies and research.
For the 2024-2025 school year, the program will award 157 scholarships worth a total of 760 million VND. These scholarships will go to students from Phan Dang Luu High School, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, Nguyen Chi Thanh High School, and students at Hue University’s College of Agriculture and Forestry, College of Sciences, and University of Economics.

At the ceremony, a representative of the Thua Thien Hue Union of Friendship Organizations gave heartfelt thanks to VietHope and all the individuals and groups who supported this meaningful program. The representative said, “These scholarships not only help students ease financial difficulties but also inspire them to chase their dreams and contribute to building skilled human resources for the community.”
The event ended with best wishes for the students. The program hopes to continue inspiring students to overcome challenges and achieve success in their education and future careers.
