The Third Congress of Association of Liaison for Oversea Vietnamese
At the congress, there was the present of Mr. Pham Xuan Toan – Member of Standing Committee and Head of Provincial People Mobilization; Mrs. Le Thi Tuyet Mai – Vice President of Thua Thien Hue’s Vietnam Fatherland, Mrs. Tran Thi Mai – President of Thua Thien Hue Union of Friendship Organizations and the representatives of the departments, sections and offices as well as the 50 official members of Association of Liaison for Oversea Vietnamese (ALOV)During the last term of office, ALOV has promoted making contact with the oversea individuals and organizations to make the ALOV a reliable place for the Vietnamese overseas as well as the bridge for the ALOVs from Vietnam and the other countries. Beside informing and propagandizing the Vietnamese in foreign countries so that they could be acknowledged the domestic situation, the Party’s policy and State’s legal system as well as struggle against the misrepresent information that causes controversies in the Great National Unity, the ALOV has mobilized a large number of the oversea individuals and organizations to actively contribute to the construction of Thua Thien Hue province through the investing and charity project.The Congress negotiated for the election of executive board of Thua Thien Hue’s ALOV term 2018 – 2013 which included 9 Members and ALOV’s Inspection Board with 3 members. Mr. Tran Hoai – Vice President of Thua Thien Hue’s Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front was continuously elected for ALOV’s President.
